2014, Fisical Sports teamed up with Little Hero’s cancer charity trust who help to support children who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families by providing distractions whilst they undergo treatments. Little Hero’s is a small national charity run by parents of children who have been affected by cancer, raising funds for children’s hospitals and distractions for all. Fisical Sports took great pleasure in being able to host a leaver’s tournament and raise proceeds for a fantastic charity which supplies much support to children and families during the tough time they face.
Fisical Sports hosted a Year 6 leaver’s tournament for schools around the area, the turnout was brilliant. In turn of the tournament Fisical also provided alternative stalls, in which all proceeds went to Little Hero’s. The tournament was the first one Fisical had hosted and was a great success, with the winners being Baildon C of E.
Following the completion of the tournament, Fisical Sports coaches wanted to be brave and hosted Little Hero’s Fire Walk challenge, in which Fisical encouraged as many people to take part as possible, gathering sponsorships from local businesses, schools, friends and families. Fisical gained much support and received fantastic donated gifts as prizes for the stalls.
Following the tournament and Fire walk challenge Fisical managed to raise a grand total of £1400.00 for a great charity which helps change the lives of children and families throughout difficult times. Fisical took great pleasure in delivering the tournament for such a great charity and look forward to working with Little Hero’s in the future.
